About Us

Palmers Motor Company is a company with almost 20 years’ experience in the motor industry. Palmers Motor Company is proud to be a privately-owned company operating from 4 locations across Watford and Hemel Hempstead. We now represent 7 vehicle manufacturers – Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Chrysler and Triumph.

Palmers showrooms are all fully equipped to assist customers at every stage of their vehicle ownership – from buying and maintaining a car, right through to selling or replacing it. We aim to deliver an outstanding customer experience at every one of our retail centres and to support this all of our centres has specialist, manufacturer trained staff to ensure you and your car receive the best possible attention at all times. Every dealership sells both new and used cars, and also offers servicing and MOT work, accident repairs and vehicle safety checks. We also operate two dedicated service express centres centres - one in Watford, the other in Hemel Hempstead.

Palmers offer a wide choice of used cars for sale with its used car centre, with everything from cost-effective city cars and the very latest in carbon-neutral electric technology, to luxury sports coupes and rugged off-roaders.

We believe our success at Palmers is built upon our values and customer service and we aim to ensure that this is reflected in every deal.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF PALMERS MOTOR COMPANY

1996

FIRST
DEALERSHIP


Our first dealership, Palmers Peugeot in St. Albans opens. In 2001, the dealership moved to Watford.

2006

NEW BRANDS
ON BOARD


2006 was a big year for Palmers. Skoda, Fiat, Citroen and the prestigious Alfa Romeo joined us this year plus a new location has been set up in Hemel Hempstead. Service Express also started to operate in 2006. The Skoda brand left the Palmers group in 2012.

2011

ANOTHER ICON
IN THE TEAM


In 2011, two more brands joined our family, one was the legendary Jeep and the other was Chrysler. Chrysler was only with us until 2014.

Abarth joined the Palmers group recently. These sporty little cars are surprisingly powerful.
